Without him it was a so-so movie (although I thought Oldman was quite good, as usual). But Ledger's scenes were all captivating. He was a trainwreck you couldn't turn away from. Dialogue aside, Ledger's mannerisms and expressions led me to question his sanity. It was, perhaps, too close to the true state of his mind. Finally saw this over the weekend. Ledger was awesome. I found this to be another very insightful review. I usually go just to enjoy the movie as opposed to analyzing them as you do. However, I do find myself agreeing with you analysis each time. Thank for doing all the thinking for me so I can just relax and enjoy the movie. Then when I read your reviews I can look objectively at the script as well as the actors.
